I had the absolute pleasure in creating graphic design for a brand new pilot resource called ‘Kids Active’ for The Irish Heart Foundation, Early Childhood Irelandand DCU. This was my ideal project, a mix of illustration and branding. I got such satisfaction from creating a project which was fun, colourful, for kids, educational and to boot the team were fantastic to deal with.

The aim of the pilot, is to help early childhood educators in providing them with opportunities for active play, to help children become more active more often. The plan for the resource is that it will be introduced/tested in a couple of pre-schools and crèches throughout Ireland, following this the resource will be rolled out across the country next year.

I created a fun brand for ‘Kids Active’, including brand identity, a series of FMS skill & activity cards, posters and folders to house the material. I wanted the look to be fun and fresh with lots of imagination added to the mix.
