Josie’s Botanicals is a dream brought to life by Barbara, a holistic therapist with a deep-rooted passion for natural healing. Inspired by nature and her family heritage, Barbara created Josie’s Botanicals to harness the power of pure, plant-based ingredients for sensitive and compromised skin.

The brief

Barbara needed a brand refresh—something that would reflect her values and give her the flexibility to expand her product range while staying true to her roots. She needed a visual identity that could grow with her vision, across multiple product lines, without losing its authenticity. Josie’s Botanicals is built on integrity: 100% plant-based, sustainably produced, tested on humans (never animals), and packaged with the planet in mind.

Josie’s Botanicals logo draws on the delicacy of wild plants and the strength of generational wisdom, combining organic lines with a grounded, elegant typeface. The icon—a stylised botanical stem—represents growth, healing, and the natural beauty found in simplicity. It nods to the tradition of herbal medicine while remaining fresh and adaptable, just like the brand itself.

Designed for flexibility, the logo works seamlessly across Barbara’s expanding product range—from nourishing facial oils to soothing balms—while staying true to her core values: purity, integrity, and sustainability.

Every element of the brand, from the formulations to the recycled packaging, reflects a promise: skincare that’s honest, effective, and deeply rooted in nature.
