Printing with Debora AndoBack

prints for kids room dublin

Myself and a few of the crew from the Fumbally Exchange took part in a drypoint etching workshop with Debora Ando. It started with a quick chat and demo from Debora and soon after we were making our very own prints. I experimented with different colours, shading and the technique of chine-collé. It was amazing to see the different variables that came from the same etched plate (perspex), no two prints were the same. Debora also mentioned that it was important to number, title and sign your prints and showed us the correct way to do this.

Below are a few of my samples, which will be available to buy framed, from thisandthat.ie very soon.
